Greg and the girls on his birthday

Greg's birthday was on February 7th. Elizabeth got such a kick out of helping me get ready for dinner and a small birthday celebration. We went to the dollar store and got a table cloth, balloons, etc. Then Elizabeth picked out a present for Daddy. She picked out a map puzzle (with my help) then, on her own, she picked out a small green bouncy ball with Winnie the Pooh on it. I gently suggested that maybe he'd like Spiderman better, but she didn't like that idea. Anyways, we cooked some chicken/steak/shrimp scampi with some brown rice and veggies and had a nice meal. For dessert we just had some berries with plain yogurt and we stuck the candles in a couple of strawberries. Elizabeth wanted some in her bowl too, so they both had lighted candles and Elizabeth was thrilled. She really loves birthdays!
