Julia Mae is one month old today!

Can you believe it? Our little Julia is one month old today! She had a Dr's appointment yesterday and weighed in at a whopping 6 lbs. 7 ozs. (Up from her birth weight of 5 lbs. 14 ozs.) She still seems so, so tiny and I had been wondering if she was gaining weight at the pace she should have been. She hasn't yet made it up to Elizabeth's birth weight - 7 lbs. 4 ozs - and not even close to Molly's - 8 lbs. 7ozs. That's our little peanut! I'm thinking that all of our summer 3-6 month clothes may fit her after all! (Before Julia was born - judging by how fast the other girls grew - I thought we might be a season off and have to buy a whole new summer wardrobe.)

Here are a couple of cute pictures taken yesterday. They are very similar, but Greg liked one the best and I liked the other the best...

Julia is still a good sleeper and quite peaceful. Although this past week she has decided that she needs to have a voice in the family too. We hear her much more now and her cry is a little louder than the quiet squeak that it once was. We love it when she gazes up at us as we hold her in our arms and we see her little smile. It is easy to forget how precious small babies are! (Is that why we keep having them? :-)

Finally, here are a couple of random pictures taken yesterday. Don't ask me why Molly and Elizabeth chose this location - right by the front door - to hang out and read books. It is the coldest, most drafty part of the house! (Not to mention the dirty floor underneath that carpet!)

And we knew Molly would go for Julia's bouncy seat. Back in October at the Joy School Halloween party - at another Joy School friend's house - I found her sitting in the same bouncy seat.
