Our Little Baby Girl's First Day of Kindergarten

Our oldest "little" girl had her first day of school on Monday. Elizabeth was so excited to go to school, to shop for supplies, to ride the school bus and to make new friends.

Here's Elizabeth having her breakfast of eggs & Cheerios at 06:45, what does the "O" stand for? Oh my goodness, it's early!!

Geared up and ready to go!!

Waiting at the bus stop, a whole house and a half away! The cutest thing was just before the bus came, Molly woke up and came sprinting in bare feet across the front lawn in pajama's into Elizabeth's arms for a first day hug from her little sister. Wish I had the camera ready for that one. All 20 adults and 10 kids thought it was priceless.

Molly & Julia waiting in anticipation for Elizabeth's return on the school bus.

Grand homecoming celebration with hugs and kisses!!

Here is Mrs. Strawser, Elizabeth's teacher at Kindergarten Orientation. What's pretty cool is that there is an assistant who will do American Sign Language all throughout class everyday. At home she'll learn spanish from maestra momma (muy bien) and apparently in the 1st grade the school offers Chinese (kung-pao-chicken)!!

We are excited for the learning opportunities for Elizabeth and we're so happy she's so happy.

Momma held strong until Elzabeth got on the bus. Then a tear or two were shed. Our baby girl is all grown up!!
